Born in Uruguay but of Japanese and Lebanese descent, Bárbara Mori has more flavor than most palates can handle! The future film star bounced between Uruguay and Mexico before settling in Mexico City at age 12. When she was 14, a fashion designer saw her waiting tables and got her working as a model, which led to acting. The beautiful brunette made her screen debut in an episode of the Mexican series Tric Trac in 1996. She made a home on Mexican TV, as she subsequently appeared in Mirada de mujer (View of a Woman), Al norte del corazón (North of the Heart), Azul tequila (Blue Tequila), Me muero por tí (I Die for You), and Amores querer con alevosía (Loves to Want with Treachery). In 2001 she appeared in her first film, Inspiración (Inspiration), so bodacious Barbara had become a success on two different-sized screens! In addition to acting, Bárbara created her own lingerie line, which she thankfully isn’t wearing in the Peruvian drama film My Brother’s Wife (2005). Ms. Mori is seen changing, flashing a bit of fanny, and then in bed for some boob exposure. It’s a shame that she hasn’t shown any skin since then–at least not that Mr. Skin has found. Instead of baring her Bs, Bárbara has been a Mexican A-lister in movies like Ugly Me (2006), Insignificant Things (2008), Kites (2010), Alice in Marialand (2014), Operation Goldenshell (2017), and The Mongolian Conspiracy (2018). She’s still a staple of Spanish-language television, but we’d rather she be a staple of skinema.
